Students feedback

I have been working with Jacquie on and off for over a year now. She has been a great support to my business and I have financially improved my salon figures with her help.

As a Salon Owner and one of the busiest stylist in the salon a lot of my time is spent working with my clients and giving them the best service I can and I had became to emotionally involved. I needed to refocus.

With Jacquie’s help and support I have been able to step away emotionally, delegate and look at my business through fresh eyes.

I have been able to implement new financial structures with wages, stock control, appointment management, team communication and team performance.

I would highly recommend Jacquie to anyone who owns or managers a salon.

Today I completed my refresher course. I am very grateful to Jacquie. I found this page on Facebook after someone recommended Jacquie to me. I did hairdressing 10 years ago at college and again a few years later at another college. I didn't have much confidence in my work and I really benefitted from the one to one on this course. The course was very easy to book and I could train around my other commitments in my own home. I was given lots of information that I hadn't received on my previous courses. I really enjoyed my training days, they are intense but I could practice in my own time too. My training was given to me at a very high standard by Jacquie and although she can not teach me confidence her training skills that she has taught me have made me so much more confident than when I first started and I will continue to gain confidence. I would definitely recommend training to anyone who is looking to start a new career or someone who needs to refresh their skills and learn some new ones along the way. I have made a new friend in Jacquie and i also now have a fantastic hairdresser too. :) Thank you Jacquie xx

1 Where did you hear about V.I.P.Hairdressing4U Training courses?
facebook & via a friend recommendation
2What made you want to Train with V.I.P.Hairdressing4U rather than any other training provider?
recommended by friend, spoke to beauty direct who accredit the course and all seemed legit, spoke with Jacquie many times, checked out website and all reviews.
3) What were your concerns before starting your training course?
my concerns were how the hell am i going to be a hairdresser; the course is full and lots to learn, it is a bit daunting at first.
4) How was the communication before you started your training course, if you had concerns do you feel they were answered effectively ?
i did alot of research before handing over the course fees, its alot of money and i wanted to make sure it was all legit and i was going to get what i paid for. Jacquie met with me and we discussed everything in full before i paid any funds
5) How do you feel about the delivery of the course?
Was it explain well and how about the pace in which the information was given to you

i learnt at my own pace and Jacquie went along with that. Jacquie teaches and you have to practice ... without you putting in the practice you will not succeed. Jacquie shows you how to do things and skills but you need to practice them
6) Do you feel you got a good balance of theory and practical skills in the course?
yes, i did also have a NVQ level 2 book i bought myself and that was a great help to run alongside the course
7) if you were to do the course again, would you of do anything different?
no.
8) As a tutor could I have done anything differently on the course that you feel could of improved your training?
no.
9) Did you enjoy you training? and would you recommend it to anyone else ?
yes i loved it and now feel like a hairdresser!! would definitely recommend.
10) if someone was to ask you about the course you did what would you say to them ?
its hard, you need to put in alot of work, determination and practice. Its 50/50 Jacquie shows you and you have to practice, practice, practice.

1 Where did you hear about V.I.P.Hairdressing4U Training courses?

Through Facebook group
2 What made you want to Train with V.I.P.Hairdressing4U rather than any other training provider?
The fact that you can do the training at times to suit me and also at my house is amazing. I couldn't have done the course otherwise and the one to one training is so much better than being in a class.
3) What were your concerns before starting your training course?
That I wouldn't be artistic enough or imaginative enough. You showed me that it's mainly about technique and then playing around with styles and ideas
4) How was the communication before you started your training course, if you had concerns do you feel they were answered effectively?
Great communication and concerns/questions were answered efficiently and effectively.
5) How do you feel about the delivery of the course?
Was it explain well and how about the pace in which the information was given to you
I was extremely impressed with jacquie a communication style and the way the course was run. She explained everything and allowed me to practice at my pace. She was really good at telling me how to improve what i was doing and I didn't feel afraid to ask questions, the course was very open to debate.
6) Do you feel you got a good balance of theory and practical skills in the course?
Absolutely, jacquie told me some great tips not only on styling hair but also her experience and knowledge of the industry and how to deal with clients queries and concerns.
7) if you were to do the course again, would you of do anything different?
no, it was great and covered everything I needed. Now I need to get practicing!
8) As a tutor could I have done anything differently on the course that you feel could of improved your training?
The only thing that might have been handy would be a handout showing pictures of the steps to some of they main styles such as the French pleat, a French plait, curls etc. However I will be able to find this on the internet myself so it's not a necessity.
9) Did you enjoy you training? and would you recommend it to anyone else ?
Absolutely, jacquie was friendly, approachable and had a great sense of humour. I really enjoyed the training and will hopefully be back for more. I will definitely be recommending her course to friend etc.
10) if someone was to ask you about the course you did what would you say to them ?
I would say that I thoroughly enjoyed it and it taught me everything I needed to know to start putting hair up. Also I know if I have further queries jacquie will help me
